PI Solicitor / Legal Executive

Due to expansion, we have an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor or Legal Executive with a background in personal injury. You should have experience of managing a comprehensive case load, with a minimum of 2-3 years PQE, at a good quality Firm.

We are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of dealing and assisting with complex personal injury caseloads including RTA’s, Clinical Negligence, El, OL, Industrial Injuries and Product Liability.  You must have excellent communication and organisation skills and enjoy working as part of a team.

Candidates are expected to manage their own caseloads from instruction to legal completion, in addition to building and maintaining effective client relationships.

You would be working in an open plan environment in an existing team of 12.

Salary for this role will be dependent on your experience and qualifications.

Paralegal – Litigation Team

We are looking to recruit a law graduate to work within the Litigation Team as a Paralegal dealing with a broad range of Personal Injury claims.

You will assist the Fee Earners in managing a caseload of fast-track and multi-track claims by taking instructions, drafting relevant documents for proceedings, researching quantum and liability and briefing experts and Counsel.

A degree in Law or equivalent is essential for this role as is the candidates drive, enthusiasm and determination to develop themselves professionally within our Firm.

The successful candidate may be provided with the opportunity to undertake the CILEx Graduate Fast-track Diploma

Salary: Dependant on experience

Practice Manager – Maternity Cover

We are looking to appoint a Practice Manager for maternity cover on a 14-month fixed term contract starting November 2017

This is a very diverse role ensuring the efficient and effective management of both human resources and the management of the Practice.

Main responsibilities include managing all HR functions of the business, Facilities Management, Marketing. IT, Maintaining the Practice’s LEXCEL and CQS accreditations, Practicing Certificate and Insurance renewals.

The ability to prioritise, organise and manage pressurised situations is essential, it is a challenging yet equally rewarding role and would suit someone with experience at this level ideally within a similar environment.

Employee relations is a key aspect of this role therefore the right candidate must be approachable, engaging, positive and maintain high standards of professionalism at all times.

Legal Secretary – Family Team

We have a newly created vacancy for a Legal Secretary to join our growing Family Team in dealing with range of matters including Matrimonial, Divorce, Ancillary Relief and Children Matters.

The role will involve assisting and supporting the fee earners providing exemplary secretarial services, it comprises of more than just typing and basic secretarial/admin duties, it will provide you with an opportunity to expand on your skills and knowledge by undertaking duties such as drafting court documents and preparing trial bundles as well as producing documents using digital dictation and case management systems.

Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within the area of Family Law is essential, the candidate must have a friendly and professional attitude, be adaptable and willing to take on more complex workloads.

The role would suit someone who is organised, works well under pressure, accurate, has an aptitude for learning and excellent attention to detail.  The candidate should have strong spoken and written communication skills and must also work well independently and as part of a team.

You must be able to type at least 70 words per minute and may be required to undertake a typing & proof reading test.
