How to Prepare Your Property for Sale


Remove all the excess items that have accumulated over the years. People need to be able to envisage what the property would look like if they were living there; they are buying into a lifestyle as much as a property.

Kerb appeal

Stand out the front of your property and see what you can do to give it the wow factor. First impressions of your property will make up a buyer’s mind instantly.

Clean the windows, tidy the front garden, fix any broken gates or doors and give the front of your property a lick of paint.

Fix and clean

Make any minor repairs necessary such as holes in the walls, broken door knobs, cracked tiles and torn or threadbare carpets. Many buyers want to move in without making changes. Clean everything until it sparkles. Get rid of limescale, clean and repair tile grout, wax wooden floors, get rid of all odours and hang up fresh towels.

Update the kitchen and bathroom
